Her leg wounds caused her bones to become infected. Treatments weren’t working, so there was no other choice. Both her back legs had to be amputated. The vet warned Brittany that it would take Dixie time to adjust to her new body. However, Dixie adjusted right away! She amazed the vet and her mama!
