A group of workers in Canary Wharf, London, were surprised when they found what looked like a little dog stuck in a hole covered with dirt and pieces of plastic. At first, they weren’t sure what kind of animal it was, but they knew they had to help it.

The young fawn was given the name “Muddy” as it was covered in mud when it was found. Muddy showed its gratitude to the construction staff who helped with its rescue. Hospital manager Sue Schwar mentioned that if the fawn hadn’t been found, it would have met a tragic fate due to its poor condition. Despite being completely covered in mud and terrified, Muddy is now doing well.
