A boa constrictor measuring approximately 1.2 meters was rescued from a pole in Ariquemes (RO), in the Vale do Jamari region. The animal was seen by a resident this Wednesday morning (19), in Sector 10.

Once rescued, the snake was evaluated and its physical integrity verified, it was taken to a stream in Bairro Zona Sul, which is the natural habitat of the species. Firefighter Amoan da Silveira explains what to do when you see a snake in situations like this.
“Try to keep children and the elderly away, keep an eye on her and call us to capture her. Call us and keep an eye on her because she could go to another place and be a venomous animal”, he warns.
